We have been on the hunt for another amazing little winery down here and Sunday we did just that!  Per Bacco Cellars is a quaint little winery.  We loved this little gem.  It was rustic and not pretentious.  It was very welcoming and the service was fabulous. 

Now, coming from the Napa/Sonoma area down to the Central Coast wine region, we aren’t as familiar with Pinot Noir’s, which is mainly what grows down here.  Having tasted a lot of Pinot’s at a handful of wineries since moving here, we haven’t always enjoy them.  They were generally a little on the thin side for us, but Per Bacco’s 2007 Dionysus was delicious.  My husband and I both loved the Sangiovese as well as the Chardonnay (and we are NOT Chard fans). 

If you are in area, I highly recommend Per Bacco.  Until then, enjoy these:
