Castles.  We love castles.  We got engaged in the gardens behind one and actually got married in another.  We’ve heard about Castello di  Amorosa for a while now but never got a chance to visit up until recently.  It was a terribly hot day in Napa, but it was very nice and cool underground inside.  The place was a rather tourist trap (even with the 106 degree weather) and the wine was ok (some better than others), but the building(s) and grounds are pretty amazing.   They took many, many years in construction to get it just right, and it shows!  I didn’t take as many photos as I would’ve liked to inside, but here are the ones I got.  The place is surely worth a visit, if you are in the area.
