Ah, where do I start with the second best city in the world! This previous trip to Paris was like no other. We stayed with the most amazing friends and had the most amazing food and the most amazing wine…and champagne! Being there for two weeks really allowed us to get pretty good navigating ourselves around via the Metro. We visited some old stomping grounds but also visited many, many new and fabulous places.
These shots below are from the Champagne region of France. We only visited two Champagne houses on our one day: Pommery (our favourite) and Moet & Chandon. Next time, we’ll be sure to stay in the area longer and thus visit more Champagne houses!
We visited the magnificent shoreline town of Étretat. It is the Normandy region of France. There are very famous natural forming archs that protrude out of the ocean. It’s stunning! And we, of course, had to stop for a little libation after the hike.
Here are some shots from in and around Paris proper:
And here below are some shots from our special anniversary dinner at Le Grand Bistro in the Latin Quarter:
This is truly one of my favorites sights to see in all the world!
