I have a book forthcoming about growing up there, including the old stories, and recipes. But, why I thought I would write is because you say you went to the "Fame" school. My cousin Ben also went there, and after high school came to live in Big Sur and at Nepenthe, so it seems a fitting place to experience life as an artist and to meet friends between 2 places.
